Former President Visits Branson

thumb_df7bb4f2855370eRIDGEDALE, Mo. – The 43rd President of the United States, George W. Bush, pays a surprise visit to the Ozarks this week, as he spoke at the Tracker Marine Conference at Big Cedar Lodge on Monday.

The former president was invited by Bass Pro Shops CEO and Founder Johnny Morris. Bush spoke on his travels around the world, his family’s love of fishing, as well as his administrations work to protect water quality and natural resources.

His father, George H.W. Bush spoke at the same convention 20 years ago in 1994 in Springfield.
