The nominations are in for the 2014 Small Business, Charity of the Year and Ozark Mountain Hospitality awards sponsored by Branson’s Imax Entertainment Complex, Cox Medical Center, Chateau on the Lake and Digital Lunchbox.
In all, 21 local businesses and non-profits have been nominated for these three awards.
The nominees for Small Business of the Year are: Abacus CPA’s, Arrowhead Building Supply, Inc., Branson Limousine & Executive Charter, Copper Run Distillery, Crossfit Branson, KOLR 10, Mitsu Neko Restaurant, PerfectSigns.com, and Starlite Theatre.
The nominees for Charity of the Year are: Branson Veterans Events & Reunions, Inc., Disabled American Veterans Chapter 68, Faith Community Health, Generation Rescue, Jesus Was Homeless, My Sister’s Keeper, Skaggs Foundation, The Caring People and The Crisis Center.
The newest category is the Ozark Mountain Hospitality Award. Nominees for this award are: Chateau on the Lake, Mitsu Neko Restaurant and Taney County Tire.
“This is always a delightful evening to celebrate all of Branson’s small businesses, our wonderful and giving charities and now, the best display of hospitality in the Branson area,” said Ross Summers, President and CEO of the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce.
The awards will be handed out at a dinner presented by the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce and the Small Business Development Advisory Council, Thursday, September 25 at Chateau on the Lake. Tickets for the event are $45 and must be purchased by Friday, September 19.
Last year, Branson’s Imax Entertainment Complex was honored with the Small Business of the Year and Jesus Was Homeless received Charity of the Year.
