HARRISON, Ark. – A Harrison man is arrested on an outstanding warrant and is a suspect in recent burglaries and break-ins over the weekend.
Harrison Police Chief Paul Woodruff says 22-year-old Nathan Campbell is behind bars and is now a suspect in the investigation of several break-ins around Harrison.
A security alarm was tripped at Fred’s Store around 11 p.m. Friday night though no inventory has yet to be confirmed stolen, according to a report. JC Penney also reported a security alarm going off around 3:30 a.m. Saturday. Chief Woodruff says the suspect shattered glass displays in the jewelry department and stole merchandise before breaking a door and fleeing the scene. According to a report, another attempted break-in was reported at DEY Gem Jewelry on Saturday around 8:30 a.m.
Officers arrested Campbell in a pickup going to Bypass Exxon after several residents called the Harrison Police Department over the weekend trying to locate the suspect. He is being held at the Boone County Jail on $2,640 cash only bond.
