BRANSON, Mo. – Branson Fire and Rescue is honored with a 2013 Life Safety Achievement Award for its commitment to safety and reducing fire deaths.
Branson Fire Chief Ted Martin says his department has also shown a commitment to the community in reducing the risk of fires:

Branson is one of 143 fire department across the country to be selected for the award. The fire department must record zero fire deaths or reduce fire deaths by ten percent in order to be eligible.
Martin went on to say that in the Branson Fire Department’s 100 year history, only three fire deaths have been reported.
