thumb_31cdb8b512300d5ARKANSAS – A measure that would end dry counties in the Natural State is approved for inclusion on the November ballot.

The secretary of state’s office announced Friday that supporters gathered over 78-thousand signatures needed to put the proposal before Arkansas voters.

The proposal would legalize alcohol sales statewide and it would also make it illegal to manufacture and transport alcoholic beverages. There are 37 counties in Arkansas that are currently dry.
