FLIPPIN, Ark. – A traffic stop by Flippin police leads to the arrest of a Yellville woman on drug and weapons charges.
Thirty-eight year old Jennifer Rogus was arrested Sunday after she was stopped by police who found a weapon and a large knife in the vehicle. Rogus was taken into custody, according to Flippin Police Chief Dusty Smith, and during the arrest police found drug paraphernalia, meth, prescription pills and marijuana in the vehicle.
Rogus is charged with felony counts of possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor charges of carrying a weapon, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of marijuana. The Marion County Sheriff’s Department and the Arkansas State Police assisted with the traffic stop and arrest.
Jennifer Rogus was released from the Marion County Jail on $5,000 bond.
