YELLVILLE, Ark. – A gun reported stolen in Harrison on Monday is now linked to an alleged armed robbery in Yellville Thursday morning, according to a report.
A Harrison Police report states Marion County officials inquired about a stolen gun shortly after the White Oak gas station was allegedly robbed at gunpoint.
Harrison Police Chief Paul Woodruff says a .380-caliber pistol was reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle on East Newman, believed to have been taken on Sunday night.
Marion County Sheriff Roger Vickers says 19-year-old David Wilson, 19-year-old Teal Hampton, both of Harrison, and 21-year-old Houston Dunsing of Alpena were all arrested and later charged with Aggravated Armed Robbery and Theft of Property.
Hometown Daily News reported yesterday a White Oak Station cashier told officers a male subject pointed a gun at him and demanded cash and cigarettes. Authorities later found a vehicle that matched the cashier’s description and were later apprehended. Officers also found most of the stolen money and property.
All three are being held in the Marion County Jail on 100-thousand dollars bond.
