NorthArk Extends President’s Contract

Jackie Elliott will remain President of North Arkansas College in Harrison through 2017. The college board of trustees voted to extend Elliott’s contract during an executive meeting August 21st. Budget figures presented at the meeting show revenues for the 2013-2014 fiscal year totaling more than 13-point-8 million dollars, with expenditures of 14-point-1 million dollars.

MSU Agrees to TV Deal

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Missouri State University and Nexstar Broadcasting agree to a five-year deal that will broadcast 17 MSU basketball games each year on KOLR10 and KOZL.
