thumb_9a6da63faf24f4cA man from Hollister is still missing following a boating accident last month on Table Rock Lake.

Twenty-five-year-old Nicholas Young reportedly fell overboard while attempting to step from one boat onto another around 3 a.m. July 19th.

According to an incident report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol – Water Division, Young swam back to the first boat, driven by 17-year-old Christopher Blong of Branson, but fell back in the water as he attempted to climb onboard, and then disappeared.

The incident happened in about 150 feet of water near Point 2 in Taney County.

Highway Patrol Troop D Public Information Officer Sgt. Jason Pace says the case is being handled as an apparent drowning. He says the patrol has exhausted every effort to locate Young, and the area is still being monitored.
