Two Injured in Crash near Purdy

thumb_01fb2a0ff2ca649PURDY, Mo. – A three vehicle crash injures two women in Barry County last night.

According to police, 30-year-old Mynor Lopez of Purdy was driving northbound on Highway 37 near Purdy and attempted to make a left turn when his car was rear-ended by an SUV. That vehicle was driven by 21-year-old Michelle Scrivner of Mount Vernon. The impact sent the car into the path of a southbound SUV, driven by 24-year-old Allison Johnson of Cassvile, which ran off the road and overturned.

Scrivner and Johnson were both sent to Cox Hospital in Monett for moderate injuries. Lopez is listed without injury, according to the accident report. The Purdy Police Department assisted state troopers in the incident.
