A man from Crane is charged with felony unlawful use of a weapon following an alleged altercation in front of his business on Main Street.
Sixty-six-year-old Robert Gardner, the owner of Show and Tell Flea Market, is accused of brandishing a knife when a man walked past his store earlier this month. Gardner allegedly yelled at the man, then pulled out a knife.
According to a probable cause statement, Gardner told a responding Stone County Deputy that he never left his store, but the deputy reportedly found a silver pocketknife in Gardner’s pants pocket.
Gardner was arrested and released from jail after posting 15-thousand dollars bond. He has an arraignment hearing scheduled for next Tuesday, August 26th.
