Two Charged in Assault Case

According to police officials, the alleged victim told authorities last Monday about his attack. According to a report, 31-year-old Jay Metz of Branson and 24-year-old Dustin Olson of Albuquerque, N.M. tied the man down and assaulted him numerous times.

Law enforcement officers obtained a search warrant of the cabin where they found Metz and Olson. They also found guns, drug paraphernalia and items with a residue that tested positive for methamphetamine.

Metz and Olson are charged with first-degree assault, felonious restraint, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine with the intent to manufacture, and two counts of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. They are currently in the Taney County Jail both held on 150-thousand dollars bond.
