State troopers say 37-year-old Joseph Wiles of Chadwick was westbound just before noon Saturday, when he slowed his car to make a right turn and was struck from behind by a westbound pickup driven by 24-year-old Christopher Goodman of Forsyth.

Wiles and four passengers, all from Chadwick, were taken by ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment of injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

Goodman, the driver of the pickup, was not injured.
