BRANSON, Mo. – Area residents gather in a public forum at the Branson RecPlex last night to talk with City of Branson officials about a proposed smoke free ordinance.
Community members were able to come and view different displays about the ordinance as well as the health risks of smoking
Alderman Mike Booth is former smoker and relates with those who choose to smoke but feels this is the right direction for the city:

Aldermen Rick Davis says the overall reaction from the community has been positive, but there’s always resistance with change:

According to Davis, the proposal could make its way to a city council agenda if approved as early as this fall.
