HARRISON, Ark. – Harrison voters approve a half-cent sales tax on Tuesday night, after previously voting down several other sales tax proposals.
Harrison Police Chief Paul Woodruff…
Woodruff believes the difference this time around was that Harrison residents realized the police and fire departments were in need of financial assistance:
Thirty-percent of the sales tax revenue will go to purchasing equipment and maintenance. The police and fire departments raised money to pay for the special election on Tuesday night.
