ROCKAWAY BEACH, Mo. – The reportedly missing Alderman of Rockaway Beach, Terry Segrist is found in Las Vegas, Nev. and wishes to be left alone, according to a report.
Segrist was reported missing late Wednesday afternoon, and according to his wife Cherri, is suffering from depression as well as medical problems such as a brain tumor and recent major surgery.
Red Rock Search and Rescue began searching for Segrist after his wife spotted a credit card transaction at a Wal-Mart in Las Vegas. Four hours later he was found safe but reportedly wants to be left alone.
According to a Red Rock Search and Rescue Official, Segrist isn’t breaking the law by going out to Vegas and wanting some privacy. He went on to say that the rescue organization has to respect his wishes.
No word yet on how this might affect Segrist’s seat on the board of aldermen.
