GREEN FOREST, Ark. – As summer winds down and the Green Forest Tigers return to their classrooms, a familiar name in health care is also making a comeback in the community. Mercy’s Green Forest clinic is now open to give families peace of mind heading into the school year.
“We’ve been looking forward to this day for a while,” said Suzann Bradley, practice manager with Mercy. “The clinic opened its doors on August 4 and we hit the ground running with several scheduled and same-day appointments.”
The facility, located at 100 Medical Circle, will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., four days a week – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Nurse practitioner Susan Zickler will work alongside Dr. Shiva Tadakal, who joined Mercy in July after completing his residency with the University of Arkansas.
“Northwest Arkansasis beautiful and has so much to offer,” Dr. Tadakal said. “It’s no wonder everyone spends so much time outside, and they’re so friendly.”
Patients at Mercy Clinic Family Medicine – Green Forest can expect comprehensive health care, including the following services:
Treatment of minor illnesses and injuries, including strains and sprains
Diagnosis and treatment of adult and pediatric conditions
Flu shots and other immunizations
General medical evaluations and wellness exams for adults and children
Sports and occupational physicals
“Mercy has a rich history in Green Forest, so it’s nice to pick back up and offer the same quality care this community has grown to expect,” Bradley added. “Keep doing what you love to do, and know that Mercy is here when you need us.”
