Law Suits Filed Against Kum & Go

thumb_cc37e3acaeae579SPRINGFIELD,Mo.-The local law firm, Douglas, Haun, & Heidemann, inSpringfield, is filing a lawsuit against Kum & Go for damages after customers purchased tainted fuel last month.

Kum & Go on Chestnut Expressway and National in Springfield, announced that they had experienced “equipment failure” resulting in diesel fuel mixing into to regular unleaded and those affected should contact the store. Since then thousands of dollars in damages have occurred to consumers vehicles.

According to a report, the suit is seeking fair and reasonable damages to compensate those vehicles that received damage from the faulty fuel purchased at Kum & Go at that location.

A spokeswoman, Traci Rodemeyer, for Kum & Go responds, stating “Kum & Go has not been served with a lawsuit regarding fuel concerns at our store located at620 North National AvenueinSpringfield, so we cannot comment on the specifics of this alleged claim.”
