A man from Kirbyville is sentenced to 9 years in federal prison without parole for his role in the distribution of synthetic marijuana, also called K2.
Forty-six-year-old Christian Turner pleaded guilty to possessing a controlled substance analogue with the intent to distribute, and to being a felon in possession of firearms.
Based on invoices and product seizures by law enforcement, the conspiracy involving Turner and two others resulted in the manufacture and distribution of more than 188 kilograms of K2.
Co-defendant Michael Saguto of Kirbyville is scheduled for sentencing August 11th.
