Christian Action Ministries (CAM) wants to help each child in Taney County that does not have the family resources to be able to start school with some new clothes. They coordinate a program called Clothe-A-Child to help reach this goal. During June, the employees at Ozark Mountain Bank had a chance to participate in Dollars for Denim days with the proceeds going to the Clothe-A-Child project.

Ozark Mountain Bank employees were given the opportunity to wear jeans and tennis shoes at work for a couple of different days in June in return for a donation. More than $450 was collected and given to Christian Action Ministries for their Clothe-A-Child program.

“I am so grateful for the assistance in the Clothe-A-Child program. I love seeing the faces of excited kids when they hear shopping for clothes is in their future.” Christian Action Ministries Executive Director Pat Davis said. “Ozark Mountain Bank is a great partner in helping CAM provide this program to help the kids. Thanks to all the employees of OMB for choosing CAM’s program.”

“Our employees felt it was important to help with the Clothe-A-Child project at back-to-school time,” Ozark Mountain Bank President and CEO Craig Richards said. “We know when a child has new clothes for school it really improves their self-esteem and helps them get their school year off to a great start.”

Ozark Mountain Bank has been serving the area since 1950. For more information, visit them online at www.ozkmtnbank.com or on Facebook at www.facebook.com/ozarkmountainbank.
