BRANSON,Mo.-Silver Dollar City announces the closure of Geyser Gulch scheduled for next weekend.
The attraction was built in 1997. It was designed to look like a geyser had broke and turned the town upside down. Lisa Rau of Silver Dollar City says Geyser Gulch is especially popular with young children.
The park has put plans in action to expand and to create something bigger and better.
The multi-million dollar expansion is scheduled to be finished spring 2015, according to Rau.
Though the attraction cannot be named just yet, the official announcement will be given on August 13th.
