GALENA, Mo. – The three candidates seeking the Stone County Clerk’s seat in the upcoming August 5 Primary were given a platform to sway voters on NewsTalk KRZK Monday evening.
Cindy Elmore has served as Chief Deputy Clerk for the past seven years under the incumbent Judy Berkstresser, who chose not to run for re-election. Elmore talks about one of the things she would like to see if elected as County Clerk:
Matt Carr is a sixth generation Stone County resident who grew up in Galena. He’s currently finishing his Management degree at Missouri State University in Springfield. Carr says he doesn’t see his youth as a disadvantage in this election:
