Swerve to Avoid Dog Leads to Crash

Two people are hurt when a motorcycle swerves to avoid hitting a dog on T Highway four miles north of Kirbyville in Taney County.

State troopers say 39-year-old Nathaniel McGee of Merriam Woods was southbound at 8:15 p.m. Saturday, when he swerved to miss the dog, ran his motorcycle off the roadway and overturned.

McGee and a passenger, 47-year-old Janalynn Donahue of Branson, were taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment of moderate injuries.
