The Sons of the Pioneers Celebrate the Cowboy

BRANSON, Mo. – Sons of the Pioneers will be celebrating the National Day of the American Cowboy this week.

The National Day of the American Cowboy campaign was founded by American Cowboy magazine in 2004 to preserve, protect, and promote our cowboy and Western heritage and honors cowboys and cowgirls for their enduring contribution to the courageous, pioneering spirit of America.

Sons of the Pioneers Business Manager, Nolen Berry, says that the cowboys there are celebrating their 80th year of honoring the cowboy culture and the old west.

Trail boss of the Pioneers, Luther Nallie encourages everyone to celebrate the cowboy.  They will be giving away free autographed photos to anyone at the show wearing a cowboy hat or cowboy boots. Sons of the Pioneers will celebrate during their matinee show this Thursday, July 24 at the Baldknobbers Theater.
