American Red Cross Aids Fire Victims

BRANSON, Mo- American Red Cross Southern Missouri Region aids over sixty-four fire victims July 9th through July 22nd.

Eleven of the victims came from Regional Headquarters Area, which includes Stone, Taney, and Christian counties in the nine county district.

The Red Cross provides shelter, clothing, food, and medicine to the affected people. They continue to work with these victims to ensure all of their needs are met.

According to a statement from the Red Cross, sixty-five percent of home fire deaths occur in structures with no working smoke alarms.

To support the Red Cross and those they help, call 1-800-733-2767 or text the word REDCROSS to 90999 to make a 10- dollar donation. Contributions can be sent to the local Red Cross chapter as well.
