Report shows $144 Mil in ’13 for Ark.

Omaha, Ark. – The National Park Service releases a new report stating just under three million visitors spent over 144-million dollars in Arkansas for 2013.

According to the report, 2-point-seven-eight million visitors spent 144-point-3 million dollars in Arkansas’ National Parks, supporting 2-thousand jobs in the Natural State.

The recent report shows an uptick in visitors and revenue from 2012, when the NPS reported 2-point-seven-two million visitors spent 138-point-9 million dollars.

Arkansas’ National Parks include Pea Ridge Military Park, Hot Springs National Park, Buffalo National River, and the President Clinton’s Birthplace Home National Historic Site.
