WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Billy Long issued the following statement after the House passed the Highway and Transportation Funding Act of 2014.
“Missouri has the seventh largest highway system of all states, so to foster robust economic activity we must invest to keep our infrastructure well-maintained while building new roads and bridges as needed. Tourism plays a vital role in Missouri’s 7th District, and it is important that we have safe and secure highways not only for residents of our district but for visitors as well,” Long said.
