Fiddle Festival Returns to Branson

BRANSON, MO- The Historic Owen Theater in Branson will host the 26th Annual Fiddle Festival & Mid-American Fiddler’s Championship scheduled for August 2nd and 3rd.

The Fiddle Championship will be held Saturday starting at 9 a.m. starting with the Pee Wee Division. World-class judges will be awarding 5 thousand dollars in cash prizes through out the day. That evening, the crowning of the 26th Annual Mid-American Fiddler Grand Champion will be named at 7p.m.

Jessica Luthardt,  of Downtown Branson Betterment Association comments on the excitement for the new, cooler, contest venue.

The indoor contest is  Eight-dollars for adults, four- dollars for children Four-12 and free for small lap children.

The Fiddle Outdoor Festival will go all weekend. Commercial Street will be filled with craft vendors, sidewalk sales, balloon artists, carnival games, prizes, a raffle and Branson musicians.
