BERRYVILLE – Four new reserve officers are sworn in to the Berryville Police Department.
The new officers are Elizabeth Saldena-Martinez, Alfonso Rengel, Andres Lemus, and Billy Phillips. According to Police Chief Dave Muniz, three of the four reserve officers also speak Spanish fluently.
The reserve officers completed training last month and will now be under the supervision of experienced, full-time officers. The reserve officers must volunteer 16 hours a month to the department.
The Berryville Police Department now has 12 certified officers with six reserve officers.
