HARRISON, Ark. – Boone County employees will receive a one-time bonus of 816 dollars, after the Boone County Quorum Court passed the appropriation ordinance by a vote of 8 to 2.
All full-time employees on the payroll as of January 1 will receive the bonus which will cost the county 141-thousand dollars.
David Thompson sponsored the ordinance and says it is an effort to maximize the benefits to employees, with health insurance, workers comp and unemployment deductions being exempted.
