The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting in Branson next week to explain possible improvements with the passage of a proposed constitutional amendment, which would provide funds for new road projects.
Area Engineer Beth Schaller says without these funds, MoDOT will remain in its current mode of upkeep and maintenance only…
The public meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 16th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Branson City Hall.
Voters will be asked to approve Constitutional Amendment 7 on August 5th. The ballot measure would temporarily raise the state sales tax by three-quarters of a cent, with those funds earmarked for transportation improvements.
