AR Reviews Hog Farm Policy at Buffalo River

The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality is accepting comments on proposed rule changes prohibiting new large and medium-sized feeding operations. A public meeting on the issue is scheduled for next Tuesday, June 17th beginning at 6 p.m. at the Durand Center in Harrison.

Written comments can be filed at www.adeq.state.ar.us or emailed to reg-comment@adeq.state.ar.us. The deadline to submit comments in July 1st.
