WASHBURN, Mo. – A teen from Exeter is in serious condition following an ATV wreck over the weekend.
Police say 17-year-old Hunter Kester was driving on a private road in Barry County near Washburn when he lost control of the ATV around a curve, left the roadway, and crashed into a fence post.
He was airlifted to Freeman Hospital in Joplin. According to the accident report, he was not wearing a helmet.
