Less than 500 White River Valley Electric Cooperative customers remain without power following severe thunderstorms this morning.
The cooperative says concentrated outage areas were addressed first, with the remaining outages scattered throughout the service area.
The storms resulted in approximately 5-thousand power outages this morning.

Branson, Mo. – Following the severe thunderstorm that moved across the Ozarks this morning, nearly 5,000 customers of White River Valley Electric Cooperative are without power.
Crews are currently out repairing the damages. The cooperative stated in a press release that the company will focus on the largest concentrated area of outages first.
All downed power lines should be considered extremely hazardous and as it may still have electricity running through it.
