Relay For Life Moves Indoors

thumb_86b946e7cfd63bbRelay For Life of Taney and Stone Counties will move indoors this weekend due to the threat of rain showers and thunderstorms.

The all-night event supporting the American Cancer Society will take place inside the Branson Cedar Ridge Intermediate School Gymnasium.

Event Chair Lyndi Carnelison says Relay For Life begins as usual at 6 p.m. Friday, with opening ceremonies at 7 o’clock…

Parking and shuttle services will still be available at Country Mart and Ozarks Family Vision Center.

This is the first time Relay For Life has been moved indoors since its inception 16 years ago.

Carnelison says cancer never sleeps and bad weather is not going to stop the local effort to celebrate, remember and fight back against cancer.
