HARRISON, Ark. – A man is in custody of the Harrison Police Department after he allegedly broke into both locations of Speed Lube as well as Clay Maxey Ford last weekend.

A security official at Clay Maxey Ford first alerted law enforcement officers of a male suspect who fled the dealership around 3:45 a.m. Sunday June 2.

Investigators tracked down 24-year-old Randy Ammons, who was found with stolen property from the car dealership, according to police.

Police Chief Paul Woodruff says Ammons was a former employee at Speed Lube and reportedly stole cash from both locations.

He faces three counts of both Commercial Burglary and Theft of Property, in addition to Public Intoxication, second-degree Criminal Mischief, Shoplifting, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Ammon’s bond was set at $25,000 which he posted through a professional bondsman.
