City Officials Discuss Urban Hunting

A committee of City Council members are discussing the idea of an urban hunting season. Springfield currently allows deer hunts near Fellows Lake and Lake Springfield each season.

Councilman Mike Carroll says in regards to safety concerns, it is much more likely a person could get hurt in a car accident caused by a deer than an urban hunting accident.
