Trial is postponed for one of two teenagers charged with first-degree murder in the beating deaths of a Michigan couple in Stone County.
The case against Antony Zarro was moved to Newton County on a change of venue. However, Zarro remains jailed in Stone County on 2-million dollars bond. His trail was slated to begin this month, but court records indicate the trial is now rescheduled for next summer.
Zarro and Christopher J. Allen ran away from the Lives Under Construction Boys Ranch in January of 2013, and were subsequently arrested and charged with the murders of 70-year-old Paul and 69-year-old Margaret Brooks, who were staying at a vacation home in Lampe.
Allen’s case was moved to Boone County, Missouri. His trail has not been scheduled.
