Hollister Man Dead after Fall

thumb_592c78d863f0d04Hollister, Mo. – A Hollister man is dead as a result of a head injury he suffered after a fall at his apartment complex Sunday morning.

Around 5:30 a.m., Hollister Police officers responded to White River Mountain Apartments after a report of a man lying at the bottom of a breezeway.

An officer contacted 33-year-old Chad Hayden who was bleeding from his head and disoriented. Western Taney County rescuers initiated lifesaving procedures on the man, until an ambulance arrived. He was then transported to Cox Branson, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators say the man had an existing medical condition which may have contributed to the fall.
