Forsyth Begins State Baseball Tournament Play

thumb_58497f193dd6bc2The Forsyth Panthers open play in the Missouri Class 3 State Baseball Tournament this evening at Ash Grove.

The Panthers will put their 19-6 record on the line in the Sectional Match-up against the Pirates who enter 17-10. Forsyth beat Clever while Ash Grove downed Lamar to claim their District Titles last week. Tonight’s game begins at 6:00 and can be heard on Hometown Daily News.com and 106.3 KRZK.

The winner of tonight’s match-up will play the winner of the game featuring Cuba at Springfield Catholic. Other State Baseball Match-ups today include Spokane at Crane and Belle at Hartville in the Class 2 Sectionals.
