Ozarks Under Wind Chill Advisory

thumb_0950724420a27ebBRANSON, Mo. – The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a wind chill advisory for all of the Ozarks including the Branson and northern Arkansas areas.

The advisory is in effect until noon Tuesday.

Wind chill values will remain in the negatives, meteorologist Mike Griffin talks about how cold it might get:

Winds are gusting up to 25 M.P.H. and will continue through this evening.

Those outdoors without sufficient protection are at a high risk for frost bite or hypothermia.

Pets are also susceptible to extreme cold. If possible, keep pets indoors; if not possible make they are warm, dry, and have fresh unfrozen water.
