Crews responded at approximately 4 p.m. Monday. Firefighters from Central Taney County and Western Taney County assisted in the response.

Nielsen says a full structure response was initiated, with the response reduced after the first crews arrived and determined there was not an active fire in the building.

A busy afternoon for area fire departments as crews are called to 2 different structure fires since 3 p.m.

Southern Stone County Fire Protection District responded to Lake Vista Lane at approximately 3:30 p.m. A full structure response was dispatched, with the response reduced at approximately 4 p.m.

Western Taney County Fire Protection District responded to the Forsyth Nursing Home on Coy Boulevard at 4 p.m. on a mutual aid call with the Forsyth Fire Department. That response was reduced about 20 minutes later, with crews remaining on scene at this hour.
